Is it legal for a registered gun owner to store their firearms at a location that isn’t the address on file for them? Can gun owners legally store their firearms under the care of a person who may not have a license to own or possess guns? Are there rules and laws about where a registered owners firearms are to be housed? Does sending the registered gun owners firearms to a family member or friend, who doesn’t know anything about guns, gun safety and storage precautions, or by-laws and regulations, jeopardize that friend or family members’ freedom, should law enforcement officers learn about the family or friend (non-registered, non-gun owner person) having those guns in their home?
